National Sailing Hall of Fame PDF Print E-mail

Location: Annapolis, Maryland

Project Summary:
The Maryland Stadium Authority was commissioned to perform a feasibility study for a proposed National Sailing Hall of Fame on the historic Annapolis City Dock.

The NSHOF, a non profit entity committed to educating the public about recreational and competitive sailing, envisions a structure that would showcase the accomplishments of international competitors while having interactive exhibits on the sport of sailing and an adjacent marina where visiting vessels could dock. It will also be an education center and museum.

The structure is proposed for property belonging to the Department of Natural Resources, a partner in the project.

The feasibility study was released December 10, 2007.  A copy of the study may be accessed here.
