Location: Baltimore, Maryland Estimated Completion: 2009 Project Summary: The Maryland Stadium Authority is managing the design and construction of several new facilities for Coppin State University. This project will include: Demolition of existing adjacent facilities at the recently acquired Northwest Business Center New Physical Education Building-167,000 Square Feet, including an Indoor Arena, Pool, classrooms, and auxiliary gymnasiums New Satellite Central Utility Plant-12,000 square foot New Facilities Management & Public Safety Building-67,000 square feet (includes mulch and salt storage areas) New Outdoor Track Tennis Court relocation and expansion New Parking Lots for the University’s Administration, Students and Visitors   Design of this multi-faceted project began the Spring of 2006. Construction broke ground in the Fall 2007 and was completed on time, under budget in the Winter of 2009.     Project Executive: Gary A. McGuigan Project Director: Eric P.
