Project Summary:

In November 2009, the City of Baltimore requested the Maryland Stadium Authority to study the feasibility of two soccer-specific facilities in Baltimore.

The City funded the $100,000 study. It evaluates prospects for a 25,000 capacity stadium along the redeveloping Westport waterfront to house DC United, and a 7,000 – 10,000 seat stadium as part of a mixed use, adaptive reuse of a warehouse complex in the Carroll-Camden industrial Park for Crystal Palace.

Crossroads Consulting began the study in February, 2010. 

The study was released by the City of Baltimore on December 22, 2010.  A copy of it may be accessed here.
